Dear All,
Well, the Finale to the 6 Nations Championship is upon us this weekend. The matches are all played on Saturday starting with what is known as the 'Wooden Spoon' decider. It is Scotland v Italy. The Scottish fans should all be back from Twickenham, by Thursday I have been told, with just a few stragglers arriving back in time for the lunchtime K.O in Edinburgh. The Italians all got pasta'rd and should recover in time for this weekend and it promises to be the game of the Championship as these 2 sides have probably shown the best form over 80 minutes with only Italy coming away with a win. The next game is the Grand Slam decider…or not if the Irish have their say. England will go to Dublin as favourites (ref Anglo-Saxon Bookmakers.com) as they have systematically beaten all others in their path. The Irish will be smarting after the manner in which they lost on Saturday to Wales and it really does lend itself to be a fantastic occasion. . Last up are the French and the Welsh. This is traditionally the most explosive and expansive of all the fixtures with both teams capable of total open rugby. France are so unpredictable that only a French Coach could lambast his team publically like he did after the game ob Sunday. This leaves Wales wondering what French Team mentally is going to turn up and we could be in for a real cracker. I believe all 3 results are a 50-50 call this weekend and therefore either think carefully or take a total guess. Sometimes it gets the same results !
